Make sure that the interrupt request (IRQ) andI/O port assignments that are needed by theserial port are available.2. If all interrupts are being used by adapters,remove an adapter to make an interrupt availableto the serial port, or force other adapters to sharean interrupt.3. Make sure that the serial port setting is correct inthe Configuration/Setup Utility program. If thesetting is not correct, change it and save thesettings.4.
