However, if the HDC cannot get EDID for some reasons, problems such asno audio output and the like may occur. In these cases, HDC recognized the connected sink device is HDMIor DVI device and output signal as HDMI or DVI mode depending on its setting.Notes:・ If setting this menu to a value other than the default (oFF, OFF), set “9.4.2 Resolution” to a supportedresolution other than “01” (External EDID).・ This setting is applied when HDMI signal is input and “9.8.3 Output format” is set to a format other thanDVI.【See: 9.8.3 Output format】
