6It is dangerous to touch theheater The temperature of theheater can be very high• After a power failure during operation, the device maystart automatically (depending on operating mode)• Transport the device with care• Do not transport or empty the bath while it is still hotThis may result in accidents, especially scalding injuriesIC contrtol: In order to preventthe power cord fall into the me-dium, the mains cable should bealways be secured with the cable clips (20, see Fig 2)Fluid:Beware of the risk of burningdue to delay in boiling!Only use fluids, which fulfill therequirements for safety, healthand device compatibility Beaware of the chemical hazards that may be associatedwith the bath fluid used Observe all safety warnings forthe fluids• Depending on the bath fluid used and the type of opera-tion, toxic or flammable vapors can arise Ensure suit-able extraction• Do not use any fluid which may cause dangerous reac-tions during processing• Only use recommended bath fluid Only use non-acidand non corroding fluidOnly process and heat up anyfluid that has a flash point high-er than the adjusted safe tem-perature limit that has been set The safe temperaturelimit must always be set to at least 25 ºC lower than theflash point of the fluid used Examine regularly the func-tion of the safety temperature limiterNever operate the device with-out sufficient heat carrier fluid! You should also be careful toensure that the minimum clearances and immersiondepths in the fluid are observed Check the fluid leveldetection at a regular basis (see section “Filling anddraining”)• Continuous monitoring of the bath and the filling level ofthe bath fluid is required, especially at high temperatures• To ensure a sufficient fluid circulation, the viscosity ofthe bath fluid must not exceed of 50mm 2/s at the lowestoperating temperatureIf water is used at higher tem-perature, there is heavy loss offluid due to the evaporation• Untreated tap water is not recommended It is recom-mended to use distilled water or high purity water (ionexchangers) and add 01 g soda (sodium carbonateNa2 CO3 ) /liter, to reduce corrosive propertiesRisk of burning caused by va-por or hot water at the outletof the cooling coilDo not use the cooling coilwith water at bath tempera-tures > 95° CFor bath temperatures > 60°Cmake sure that the flow ratethrough the cooling coil is highenoughDon't use following fluids:- Untreated tap water- Acids or bases- Solutions with halides: chlorides, fluorides, bromides, iodides or sulfur- Bleach (Sodium Hypochlorite)- Solution with chromates or chromium salts- Glycerine- Ferrous waterWhen changing the bath fluidfrom water to a heat transferfluid for temperatures above100 °C, remove the remaining water from the completesystem (including hoses and external devices) When do-ing this, also open the stopper and union nuts caps ofthe pump outputs and inputs and blow compressed airthrough all the pump outputs and inputs! Beware of therisk of burning due to delay in boiling!NOTICENOTICEWARNINGWARNINGNOTICENOTICENOTICENOTICENOTICEBattery pack RB 1 (for Wireless Controller):If during operation the batterypack RB 1 (rechargeable battery)becomes fully discharged, the de-vice (Station) will continue to run or is shut down de-pending on the value settings for “Time Out”, “SafeSpeed” and “Safe Temperature” If the device is setso that it continues to run when the battery of the Wire-less Controller (WiCo) is fully discharged, the only meansof switching the station off are the “safe STOP”, “ON/OFF” key and the “Mains switch”!NOTICECAUTIONCAUTIONCAUTION
