• If there is no oven beneath the hob inserta dividing panel at a minimum distanceof 20 mm from the bottom of the hob.• Do not use silicon sealant between theappliance and the worktop. Avoidinstalling the appliance next to doorsand under windows as hot cookwaremay be knocked off the rings when doorsand windows are opened.• Only an authorized service engineer caninstall, connect or repair this appliance.Use only original spare parts.Electrical connection• Before connecting, check that thenominal voltage of the appliance statedon the rating plate, corresponds to theavailable supply voltage. Also, check thepower rating of the appliance andensure that the wire is suitably sized tosuit the appliance power rating (refer tothe "Technical information" chapter). Therating plate is located on the lowercasing of the hob.• The appliance is not provided with amains cable. Buy the right one fromspecialized dealer. Single phase or two-phase connection requires a mains cableof minimum 70°C temperature stability.Cable has been provided with endsleeves. According to IEC regulations usefor one-phase connection: mains cable 3x 4mm² and for two-phase connection:mains cable 4 x 2.5mm². Please respectin first priority specific nationalregulations.• The appliance works perfectly on AC230 V, AC 220 V~ or AC 240 V~ 50 Hzelectrical network.• You must have the means fordisconnection incorporated in the fixedwiring. Have the appliance connected tothe mains using a device that allows theappliance to be disconnected from themains at all poles with a contact openingwidth of at least 3 mm, eg. automatic lineprotecting cut-out, earth leakage trips orfuse.• You must have the connection and theconnecting links carried out as shown inthe connection diagram (it is located onthe underneath surface of the casing ofthe hob). The earth lead is connected toterminal marked with the symbol andmust be longer than leads carryingelectric current. Tighten the terminalscrews securely! Finally, secure theconnecting cable with the mains cablecleat and the covering closed bypressing firmly (lock into place).Warning!
