2-7 Supplied Accessory Attachments11¾ Flexible antennaConnect the supplied flexible antenna to the antennaconnector.¾ Battery packTo attach the battery pack:Slide the battery pack in the direction of the arrow (①), thenlock it with the battery release button.• Slide the battery pack until the battery release buttonmakes a ‘click’ sound.To release the battery pack:Push the battery release button in the direction of the arrow(②) as shown below. The battery pack is then released.CAUTION!• NEVER HOLD by the antenna when carrying the transceiver.• Transmitting without an antenna may damage the transceiver.NEVER release or attach the battery pack when the transceiver is wet orsoiled. This may result water or dust getting into the transceiver/batterypack and may result in the transceiver being damaged.¾ Belt clipTo attach the belt clip:•Release the battery pack if it is attached.•Slide the belt clip in the direction of the arrow until the beltclip is locked and makes a ‘click’ sound.To detach the belt clip:•Release the battery pack if it is attached.•Lift the clip (①), and slide the belt clip in the direction ofthe arrow (②).¾ Jack coverAttach the jack cover when the optional speaker-microphoneis not used.To attach the jack cover:•Attach the jack cover on. the multi-connector.•Tighten the screws.To detach the jack cover:1.Unscrew the screw with a Phillips screwdriver.2.Detach the jack cover for the speaker-microphone orhead-set connection.Attach the supplied accessories as shown below.Battery ReleaseButton
