587 DSC OPERATION■ Receiving DSC calls (Continued)When a Group Call, Geographical Area Call, or All Ships Callis received:➥ The alarm sounds for 2 minutes.➥ “RCVD GROUP CALL,” “RCVD GEOGRAPHICAL,” or“RCVD ALL SHIPS CALL” is displayed. The backlight mayblink for 2 minutes, depending on the received Category.q Push [ALARM OFF] to stop the alarm and the blinkingbacklight.• Even if you do not push [ALARM OFF], the alarm stops after 2minutes, and then the screen in step w is displayed.w Push a softkey to select your desired action.[IGN]➥ Push to ignore the Call and return to the normal operatingmode.• The transceiver exits the DSC mode.• “ ” continues to blink and the Call is stored in the ReceivedCall Log.[INFO]➥ Push to display the Received call information.
