84CONNECTIONS AND MAINTENANCE10■ Connectionsq ANTENNA CONNECTORConnects to a marine VHF antenna cable’s PL-259 con-nector.CAUTION: DO NOT transmit without an antenna.w NMEA IN/OUT LEADSBrown: Talker B (Data-L), Data Out (–)White: Talker A (Data-H), Data Out (+)Connect to NMEA input lines of navigation equipment, toreceive position data of other ships.• A NMEA 0183 (ver. 2.0 or later) sentence format DSC or DSEcompatible navigation equipment is required.• The built-in GPS outputs RMC, GSA, GSV format sentences.Green: Listener B (Data-L), GPS In (–)Yellow: Listener A (Data-H), GPS In (+)Connect to NMEA output lines of a GPS receiver for posi-tion data.• A NMEA 0183 ver. 2.0 or later RMC, GGA, GNS, GLL, VTG,GSV, and GSA sentence format compatible GPS receiver is re-quired.
