356DSC OPERATION6D Receiving an Individual CallWhile monitoring Channel 70 and an Individual Call is received:➥ The emergency alarm or beeps sound, depending on thereceived category.➥ “Received Individual” is displayed on the screen.➥ “ ” and the LCD backlight blink.➥ Push [CLR] to stop the beeps and the backlight blinking,then push [ENT] to reply to the call and select the channelspecified by the calling station for voice communication(depending on your situation see page 25 for individualacknowledgement call procedure for details.); push [CLR]to ignore the Individual Call. D Receiving a Group CallWhile monitoring Channel 70 and a Group Call is received:➥ The emergency alarm or beeps sound depending on thereceived category.➥ “Received Group” is displayed on the screen.➥ “ ” and the LCD backlight blink.➥ Push [CLR] to stop the beeps and the backlight blinking,then push [ENT] to monitor the specified channel for anannouncement from the calling vessel; push [CLR] toignore the Group Call. D Receiving an All Ships callWhile monitoring Channel 70 and an All Ships call isreceived:➥ The emergency alarm sounds when the category is‘Distress’ or ‘Urgency’; 2 beeps sound for other categories.➥ “Received All Ships” is displayed on the screen.➥ “ ” and the LCD backlight blink.➥ Push [CLR] to stop the beeps and the backlightblinking, then push [ENT] to monitor channel 16 for anannouncement from the calling vessel, push [CLR] toignore the call.
