This key action contains PUSH (Pu) or HOLD (Ho)settings as shown below.• Pu (PUSH): After pushing [ ] for 1 sec., the squelch opens andemits audio. The squelch is held open while continu-ously pushing and holding [ ]. (default)• Ho (HOLD): After pushing [ ] for 1 sec., the squelch opens andemits audio even [ ] is released. To close thesquelch, push any key.D Backlight function “ ”This function is convenient for night-time operation.
