If after removing and checking the injector (asdetailed in Frame 60) and ensuring that there is an inletpressure of 37 mbar available, the pilot does not light thencontact Caradon Plumbing Limited.Relight in accordance with 'Initial Lighting' - refer Frame 45.REPLACEMENT OF PARTSMAIN BURNERAfter any servicing, reference should be made to Table 2which quotes details of the rated output with the relatedburner setting pressure and the heat input.When replacing any component:1. Isolate the electricity supply.2. Turn OFF the gas supply.3. Remove the boiler casing - refer to Frame 50.IMPORTANT. When work is complete the casing mustbe correctly refitted, ensuring that a good seal is made.58 OVERHEAT THERMOSTAT REPLACEMENT56 GENERALNote. In order to assist fault finding the control box printed circuitboard is fitted with 2 indicator lights which represent the followingboiler conditions:Neon I3. Mains electricity ON.Neon SG1. Flashes to indicate spark operation (stops afterdetection).The boiler MUST NOT be operated if the casing is not fitted.57 SIGHTGLASS REPLACEMENT1. Refer to Frame 56.2. Unfasten the two nuts and washers holding the sightglassassembly to the casing front panel.3. When fixing the new assembly, ensure that the parts are in thecorrect order. The frame must have the return edge at thebottom.4. Retighten the 2 nuts to ensure an airtight seal. Do NOTovertighten.6. Replace the boiler casing. Refer to Frame 54.55 GAS PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT1. Refer to Frame 56 & 39.2. Remove the control box fixing screws.3. Swing the control box down into the servicing position.4. Pull off the electrical connections at the thermostat. Remove thebacknut retaining the thermostat to the bracket. Withdraw thethermostat phial from the heat exchanger pocket.5. Fit the new thermostat and re-assemble in reverse order.6. Check the operation of the boiler.SERVICING
