30 Classic FF - Propane InstallationSERVICING59 THERMOSTAT CONTROL, THERMISTOR SENSOR LEAD and ON/OFF SWITCHREPLACEMENT60 PILOT BURNER REPLACEMENT1. Refer to Frame 56.2. Remove the burner and air box assembly.Refer to Frame 51.3. Remove the electrode retaining nut and remove the pilotshield and electrode.4. Unscrew the central pilot fixing screw and lift the pilot clearof the pilot injector. The pilot injector may now beunscrewed if required.5. Replace the pilot burner and retain with the M4 screwpreviously removed. Ensure that the copper sealing washeris replaced when refitting the pilot injector.6. Replace the electrode and pilot shield, retaining both withthe electrode nut. Check the spark gap.7. Reassemble in reverse order.8. Check the operation of the boiler.9. The pilot is factory set to maximum and no further adjustmentis possible. Ensure that there is an inlet pressure of 20 mbaravailable. Also check burner ignition and cross-lighting.Refer also to Frame 56.A. Remove the fixing screwsB. Swing the control box down into the servicing position.Thermostat control1. Pull the knob off the shaft.2. Remove the backnut securing the thermostatcontrol to the control box.3. Pull off the Molex connector from printed circuitboard.4. Replace and reassemble in reverse order.Thermistor sensor lead5. Pull the sensor lead connector off the printedcircuit board.6. Remove the sensor from the heat exchangerpocket and unclip from the back panel.7. Remove the strain relief bush from the backpanel base.8. Remove the sensor lead through the grommet inthe control box.9. Replace and reassemble in reverse order.On/off switch10. Disconnect the electrical connectors from therear of the switch.11. Press in the 2 side retaining clips and removethe switch.12. Reassemble in reverse order.SERVICING
