If commissioning cannot befully completed, the appliance must be disconnected fromthe gas supply in accordance with GS(I&U)R. NOTE:Check and record CO level and combustion ratio at bothmaximum AND minimum rate before contacting Ideal.IsCO level lessthan 350ppm AND CO/CO 2ratio less than0.0040?Set Boiler to Maximum Gas RateIn accordance with boiler instructions, set boiler to operate at maximum rate(full load condition). Allow sufficienttime for combustion to stabilise.Note. Do not insert analyser probeduring this period to avoid possibleflooding of sensor.Check CO level and Combustion Ratioat Maximum Gas RateWith boiler still set at maximum gas rate, insert analyser probe into flue gassampling point. Allow readings to stabilisebefore recording.Set Boiler to Minimum Gas Rate(*see opposite page)In accordance with boiler instructions, set boiler tooperate at minimum rate (to minimum load condition).Allow sufficient time for combustion to stabilise.Verify Flue IntegrityAnalyser readings indicate that combustion products and inlet airmust be mixing. Further investigation of the flue is therefore required.Check that flue components are assembled, fixed and supported asper instructions. Check that flue and flue terminal are not obstructed.Check that no seals, e.g. Those on flue extensions, havebeen displaced during installation. Rectify if necessary.Turn off appliance and call Ideal Technical Helpline for adviceThe appliance must not be commissioned until problems are identifiedand resolved. If commissioning cannot be fully completed, the appliancemust be disconnected from the gas supply in accordance with GSIUR.Carry Out Flue Integrity Check Using AnalyserInsert analyser probe into air inlet test point (where available) and allowreadings to stabilise.Note. Where no air inlet test point is provided then a flue integrity check withthe analyser is not possible. The installer should verify that flue integrity hasbeen visually checked in accordance with the “Prior to CO level andcombustion ratio check” (see opposite page) before proceeding to the“check CO level and combustion ratio at maximum rate” stage below.IsO2 more than orequal to 20.6% OR CO 2less than or equal to0.2%?IsCO level lessthan 350ppm AND CO/CO 2ratio less than0.0040?IsO2 more than orequal to 20.6% OR CO 2less than or equal to0.2%?Boiler is Operating SatisfactorilyNo further actions required.Ensure test points are capped, boiler case is correctly replaced and allother commissioning procedures are completed. Complete BenchmarkChecklist, recording CO and combustion ratio readings as required.Check CO and Combustion Ratio at Minimum Gas RateWith boiler set at minimum rate, insert analyser probe into fluegas sampling point.
