27INSTALLATIONisar - Installation and Servicing36 INITIAL LIGHTING1. Check that the system has been filled and that the boiler isnot airlocked. Ensure the automatic air vent cap (N) is open.Note.It is important the burner is not operated before the system isfully vented of air. If it is necessary to operate the appliancepump to assist venting of the air this must be done with thegas service cock turned off.2. Refit the boiler sealing panel. Refer to Frame 43.3. Check that all the drain cocks are closed and that the CHand DHW isolating valves (T, W and S) are OPEN.4. Check that the electrical supply is OFF.5. Check that the boiler on/off switch (A) is off.6. Carefully align the user control and push gently into place.Secure with the single screw located underneath.7. Check that the gas service cock (H) is OPEN.8. Slacken the screw in the inlet pressure test point (G) andconnect a gas pressure gauge via a flexible tube.9. Swing the control box to the working position and securewith the clamp.10. Reconnect the ignition lead to the control box.11. Connect the low voltage electrical lead from the user controlto the control box (refer to Frame 44) and screw the controlinto position.12. Switch the electricity supply ON and check all external controlsare calling for heat.13. CENTRAL HEATINGSet the boiler thermostat knob (B) to position 6 and switchthe boiler on/off switch (A) to ON. The RED mains-on neon(C) should now be illuminated. The boiler control shouldThe displayThe user control has one neon and one display to inform theuser about the status. The display will show the status of theboiler. The neon will show the status of the flame. If no flame isdetected the neon is blinking. When the flame is detected theneon will be lit permanently.Below is a list with display function in normal operation.Standby, no demand for heat present.Boiler is active for central heating.Boiler is active for domestic hot water.Boiler is heating up the plate heat exchanger.Boiler is in lockout for a specific error. Display will beblinking, alternating with a number or letter to show whicherror is detected.Boiler is in lockout for a specific error.
