4DOLBY PRO LOGIC* (NON-DIGITAL) – LINE LEVELUse this installation method forDolby Pro Logic applications(not Dolby Digital, DTS or otherdigital processing), where thereceiver/processor isequipped with a subwooferoutput, or a volumecontrolledpreamp (line-) level output:Use RCA-type interconnects toconnect the line-level sub-woofer outputs on your recei-ver or amplifier to the line-levelinputs on the subwoofer.IMPORTANT: Do not use theLFE input on the subwooferwith Dolby Pro Logic proces-sors.NOTE: If your receiver oramplifier only has one sub-woofer output jack, then youwill need to use a Y-connector(not included).Plug the male end of the Y-connector into your receiver oramplifier’s subwoofer outputjack, and connect each of thetwo female ends to separateRCA-type interconnects.Finally, plug the RCA-typeinterconnects into the line-level inputs on the subwoofer.Connect each speaker tothe corresponding speaker ter-minals on your receiver oramplifier.Make sure your receiver orprocessor is correctly config-ured to indicate that the sub-woofer is “On.”Note for advanced users: Ifyour receiver/processor has abuilt-in low-pass crossover fil-ter for the subwoofer output,you may use the LFE input tobypass the subwoofer’s inter-nal crossover.Use this installation method forDolby Digital, DTS or other dig-ital surround processors:Use the line-level input jackmarked “LFE” for the Low-Fre-quency Effects channel. Con-nect this jack to the LFE outputor subwoofer output on yourreceiver or amplifier. Connecteach speaker to the corre-sponding speaker terminals onyour receiver or amplifier.Make sure that you have con-figured your surround soundprocessor for “Sub-wooferOn.” Also configure yourreceiver for 5.1-, 6.1- or 7.1-channel operation as appropri-ate.
