Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized orgrounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two bladeswith one wider than the other. A grounding-type plughas two blades and a third grounding prong. The wideblade or the third prong is provided for your safety. Ifthe provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consultan electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.9. Protect the power cord from being walked on orpinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptaclesand the point where they exit from the apparatus.10. Use only attachments/accessories specified by themanufacturer.11. Use only with the cart, stand,tripod, bracket, or tablespecified by the manufactureror sold with the apparatus.When a cart is used, usecaution when moving thecart/apparatus combination toavoid injury from tip-over.12. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or whenunused for long periods of time.13. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.Servicing is required when the apparatus has beendamaged in any way, such as when the power-supplycord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled orobjects have fallen into the apparatus, or theapparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, doesnot operate normally or has been dropped.14. To disconnect this apparatus from the AC mainscompletely, disconnect the power-supply cord plugfrom the AC receptacle.15. The mains plug of the power-supply cord shall remainreadily operable.16. This apparatus is intended to be used only with thepower supply and/or charging cable provided by themanufacturer.The following instructions may not apply to waterproof devices.
