29G E N E R A L S E T U PVideo Output SettingThe initial default Video Output Modesetting for this system is "S-VIDEO"which is the correct setting when youare connecting this system to your TVusing either the Video Out jack, the S-Video output socket or the SCARTconnector. There is no need tochange the video output modesetting.A composite video signal is alwaysavailable at the Video Out jack,should you wish to use this as yourpreferred connection method. If youwish to choose an RGB signal as yourvideo output, this is available via theSCART socket only and is selected byaccessing the VIDEO OUT options inthe menu. If you choose this optionyou will not be able to see a videosignal, or menus, when connecting tothe S-Video output. The VIDEO OUToption must be reset to S-VIDEO, inthe menu, using the SCARTconnection before this optionbecomes available.The 3 steps below indicate how toselect a different video output setting.They are for information only.Your system has been preset to theS-VIDEO setting and it must remain inthe S-VIDEO setting in order to viewthe picture on your TV.1. Press SETUP to enter SETUPMENU. Use (D/E) to selectGENERAL SETUP (see page 27),and then press ENTER.2. Select VIDEO OUT using (D/E),then press to go to the rightoption list. Select S-Video or RGBusing (D/E), then press ENTER toconfirm your selection.3. Press SETUP again to exit SETUPMENU.Angle Mark SettingPath: Main Page General Page Angle MarkSome DVD movies contain sceneswhich were filmed from multipleangles simultaneously. If the sceneyou are watching was shot frommultiple angles, the angle iconwill appear on the screen.You may then press the angle buttonon the remote to select the alternateangles. The default Angle Marksetting is 'On'.
