Set your Bluetooth phone to “discover” the speakerphone by following yourphone’s instruction guide. Typically, the steps involve going to a “setup”, “connect”,or “Bluetooth” menu on your phone and then selecting the option to “discover” aBluetooth device*. (See example from a typical mobile phone in fig. 3)4. Your phone should find the “Jabra SP500” speakerphone and ask if you want to pairwith it. Confirm by pressing “yes” or “ok”.5. Enter passkey or PIN³ = 0000 (4 zeros), then press “yes” or “ok”IMPORTANT: If pairing was successful, the blue indicator light will briefly flash rapidlybefore going back to flashing blue every 3 seconds. You will also hear the confirmationmelody. It is also possible to prevent the LEDfrom flashing by pressing and holding the mute button for 10 seconds until you hear asecond beep. The Jabra SP500 will still function during this time. When you switch offthe unit and then switch it back on again the LED lights will commence flashing again.Indicator light10
