These are generally available in packs with several wood tonesfrom which a close match can be selected to the color of the scratchedpart.12.8 Stainless Steel CornersTo prolong the life of the stainless steel, handle it with care and clean itregularly. Below are the care instructions.1. A simply solution of warm water with a couple of drops of liquid soapmakes an excellent cleaner.2. Dampen a soft cloth (such as a microfiber cloth) into the cleaningsolution.3. Following the grain of the stainless steel, wipe and clean the steel.4. Dry off the stainless steel using another clean, dry soft cloth.Note: Never use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, scrubbing brushes, orscrubbing pads on the stainless steel. Should scratches occur, productsare available at local home centers that can help fix them.CAUTION: Never spray cabinet with a garden hose for anyreason since this action may induce an electrical short in thespa’s electrical equipment.12.9 WinterizingYour Jacuzzi spa is designed to automatically protect itself againstfreezing when operating properly. During periods of severe freezingtemperatures, you should check periodically to be certain that theelectrical supply to the spa has not been interrupted. In extreme, bittercold weather less than -20°F (-29°C), choose the F3 “Standard” filtration/heating mode to prevent freezing (page 30).If you do not intend to use your spa, or if there is a prolonged poweroutage during periods of severe freezing temperatures, it is importantthat all water be removed from the spa and equipment to protectagainst damage from freezing.Expert winterization of your spa is highly recommended, contact yourauthorized Jacuzzi dealer. In emergency situations, damage can beminimized by taking the following steps:CAUTION: TURN OFF POWER TO HOT TUB!1. Turn off power to the spa.2. Follow the directions on page 38 for draining the spa.3. Turn the massage/diverter selector(s) into the middle combo positionto allow the water in the plumbing lines to drain, see page 29.4. Turn the waterfall valve(s) to the open position to allow the water inthe plumbing lines to drain, see page 29.
