Your authorized Jacuzzi dealer can supply you withall the information, supplies, and accessory products you will need toaccomplish this.11.1 Cleaning The FiltersYour Jacuzzi spa is equipped with a skimmer bag and two highperformance filter cartridges located inside the filter skimmer. Finedebris are filtered by the circulation pump drawing water through theskimmer bag and circulation pump cartridge. Larger debris are filteredby the 2-speed jets pump # drawing water through the skimmerbag and main pump cartridge during normal operation and at eachskimming/heating cycle. The skimmer bag and filter cartridges provideunsurpassed water quality by trapping surface and suspended particles.An optional chemical feeder is available through yourauthorized Jacuzzi dealer that installs under the filter cap(#2472-673). Always remove the chemical feeder capand feeder (when used) during the filter cleaning processby turning the cap handle counterclockwise. Reinstallthe cap and feeder back onto the filter cartidge after thefilter cleaning process is complete. To avoid touching thechemical feeder, it is recommended that latex gloves beused during this process. Note: when used, the chemicalfeeder MUST remain on the circulation pump filtercartridge! This filter cartridge is the one with the gridacross the wall fitting as shown (right).The J-335 and J-345 models include filters on their footwellsuction covers that prevent debris from entering pump #2,when operating. These filters must remain in place to protectpump #2’s plumbing network. They should be cleaned every 2months, or when weak pump #2 performance is observed.
