29Installation of front and side panels(where included)Consult the drawings relevant to the supplied model. (2-2a-2b). The panels with wengé finished are for indoors instal-lation ONLY.- Customizable panels (where included)These are panels upon which coverings with a thickness of a fewmillimetres can be applied (leather, fabric, etc.).If you want to apply thicker coverings (mosaic, tiles, etc.), youcan partially mill the unfinished panel so that the covering isaligned with the corners. In any case, to prevent accidental damage during applicationof the covering, you should remove the corners, as shown (2, part. 7).Control panel and functions(5) All hot tub functions are managed by the control panel onthe tub, as are the respective settings/programming.NOTE Up/Down key: if the display is equipped with a single “up/down” key, the displayed value will increase upon holding down thiskey; once the key is released, the scrolling direction will reverse (subse-quently, upon holding down the key, the display value will decrease).Setting the water temperatureThe water is heated by a tubular electrical heater. Do not set anexcessively high water temperature, i.e. over the limit of 40 °C. Therecommended temperature is 35-36 °C.NOTE: If the electric consumption limiter is activated (se the relatedchapter) should the pump be turned on at high speed, the heaterwill be turned off (the LED for the symbol will flash on the dis-play) and it is turned back on, if needed, 5 minutes after the pumpis turned off.Temperature unit of measureThe temperature scale is set to °C (Celsius). It can be changed to°F (Fahrenheit) as follows:XPress and hold the key “Light” for about 12 seconds untilyou see the message “cFn” (if necessary use the key “Up/Down”to scroll the menu until you come to “cFn”).XPress the key “Light” again to confirm.XNow insert the password 123 as follows:- use the key “Up/Down” to select the first numeral.NOTE: hold the key down until you reach the desired value. If thedisplay is equipped with two separate keys, press the key “Up” toincrease the value or the key “Down” to decrease it.- confirm the selection by pressing the key “Light” .Perform the same steps to insert the other two numbers.XOnce you have inserted the password, the display will show themessage I1x (where “x” may be 1 or 0; the memorized value is 0).XUse the key “Up/Down” to change “x” from 0 a 1 (cor-responding to the scale in °F). Confirm the selection with the“Light” key. The display will show the message I2x.XPress the “Light” key one more time to exit the procedureand memorize the new values. The display will go off for a mo-ment, and then it will come on again. To go back to the Celsius scale (°C), return to the procedure andset figure “x” of the parameter I1x to 0.NOTE: If no key is pressed for 20 seconds, you will exit the proce-dure and any changes made will not be saved.Water heating temperature (“set point”).To check or modify the water heating temperature, do the following:XPress the key “Up/Down” : the display will show the cur-rently memorized temperature (in °C or °F as programmed; see“Unit of measurement of the temperature”).XPress the key “Up/Down” again to change the displayed val-ue from a minimum of 15 °C to a maximum of 40 °C (59÷104 °F).NOTE: if you press the upper part of the key, the displayed valueincreases. If you press the lower part, it decreases. If the display is equipped with two separate keys, press the key“Up” to increase the value or the key “Down” to decrease it.XTo show the temperature of the water in the tub again, donot touch any key for about 5 seconds.XAs soon as the water temperature set point is reached, theheater is shut off. It will not be turned back on until the watertemperature drops about 0.5 °C (1 °F) below the set point.XTo ensure precise measurement of the water temperature, the filtering pump comes on every half hour for about 30 sec-onds (even if no filtering cycles were set), since the temperatureprobe is located in the heater pipe.NOTESWhen the system is turned off, or there is a power outage, the lastset point is stored in memory.Operation of the heater is shown on the display by a LED onsteady under the symbol . If it is flashing, it means that heatinghas been suspended to keep from exceeding the maximum permit-ted consumption. See also the previous note.As a rule of thumb, an electric heater of approximately 2 kW increas-es the temperature of 1 m3 of water by roughly 1.7 °C per hour (withthe thermal cover on the hot tub and without considering system heatlosses).CAUTION Do not use the hot tub if the water temperature is 40 °C ormore.Maintenance of minimum temperature of water in tub andanti-freeze protection of the pipes (“Smart Winter”).At regular intervals, the system reads the actual temperature. Ifit is below the minimum admissible value (15 °C - 59 °F), the heater
