Turn off the main electrical switch or circuitbreaker, as well as the switch, which operates theunderwater light.2. Be sure to have the following items:• A new lens gasket.• A light driver board. See Table 2 for specification.WARNINGReplace light driver with the same type. Failure toreplace the light driver with the same type will damagethe light assembly and may cause an electrical hazardresulting in death or serious injury to pool or spa users,installers, or others due to electrical shock, and mayalso cause damage to property. Be sure the power isswitched OFF before removing or installing PCB. AllowPCB to cool before replacing.3. To remove the light assembly, unscrew the specialpilot screw at the top of the face ring, removelight assembly from niche and gently placeassembly on the deck. It is not necessary to draindown the pool. See Figure 6.Table 2. This screw mounts and electricallygrounds the housing securely to the mounting ringand wet niche. Failure to use the screw provided couldcreate an electrical hazard, which could result in deathor serious injury to pool or spa users, installers orothers due to electrical shock.7.1 Pool Clamp Removal.1. Loosen the Phillips head screws (six (6) for smalllight, eight (8) for large light) to allow the bottomclamp to be removed from the face ring assembly.Do not remove the screws or the retaining rings.The retaining rings prevent the screws fromfalling free from the bottom clamp and also aid inease of assembly.
