11Style 2 - Refrigerator/Freezer DrawersThe refrigerator control adjusts the temperature in the upperdrawer. The freezer control adjusts the temperature of the lowerdrawer.Style 3 - Double Freezer DrawersThe freezer control adjusts the temperature in both upper andlower drawers.IMPORTANT: Wait at least 24 hours between adjustments.Recheck the temperatures before other adjustments are made.To adjust set point temperatures:■ Press the refrigerator or freezer PLUS (+) or MINUS (-) touchpad until the desired temperature setting is reached.NOTE: The set point range for the refrigerator drawer is 34°F(1°C) to 45°F (7°C). The set point range for the freezer draweris -5°F (-20.5°C) to 5°F (-15°C).Max Cool or Max FreezeThe Max Cool or Max Freeze feature assists with periods of heavyusage, full grocery loads or temporarily warm room temperatures.Style 1 - Double Refrigerator DrawersMax Cool will reset the temperature for both drawers to thecoldest setting 34°F (0.5°C) for a 24-hour period.Style 2 - Refrigerator/Freezer DrawersMax Cool will reset the temperature for both drawers to thecoldest setting 34°F (0.5°C) in the refrigerator drawer and -5°F(-20.5°C) in the freezer drawer for 24 hours.Style 3 - Double Freezer DrawersMax Freeze will reset the temperatures for both drawers to thecoldest setting -5°F (-20.5°C) for 24 hours.NOTE: The temperature display will remain at the coldestsetting(s) and the indicator light will remain on for a 24-hourperiod. The drawer will automatically return to the previoustemperature set point(s) and the indicator light will turn off.Sabbath ModeSabbath Mode is designed for the traveler or for those whosereligious observances require turning off the lights. By selectingthis feature, the temperature set points remain unchanged and theinterior lights will turn off. For most efficient refrigerator drawersoperation, it is recommended to exit the Sabbath Mode when it isno longer required.■ Press and hold the SABBATH MODE touch pad for 3 secondsto turn on the feature. The indicator will light up.■ Press and hold the SABBATH MODE touch pad for 3 secondsto turn off the feature.Control LockThe control panel can be locked to avoid unintentionaltemperature changes by small children or during cleaning.■ Press and hold the CONTROL LOCK touch pad for 3 secondsto turn on the feature. The indicator will light up.■ To deactivate the feature, press and hold the CONTROLLOCK touch pad for 3 seconds.NOTE: When Control Lockout is activated, the control paneltouch pads will not work. Any attempt to change the settings willresult in a beep which indicates the control panel is locked.Drawer Open/Alarm ResetThe Drawer Open alarm will sound and the Alarm Reset indicatorwill light up when a drawer has been open for longer than10 minutes.To temporarily disable the Drawer Open alarm, press and hold theALARM RESET touch pad for 3 seconds. Closing the drawer willstop the audible alarm and reset the 10-minute timer.Ice Maker and Water Filtration System(Refrigerator/Freezer Drawers andDouble Freezer Drawers only)IMPORTANT: After connecting the refrigerator to a water sourceor replacing the water filter, fill and discard three full containers ofice to prepare the water filter for use before using ice.Turning the Ice Maker On/OffIMPORTANT: Use the Ice On touch pad on the control panel toturn the ice maker on or off. Do not adjust the wire arm located onthe ice maker.■ Press and hold the ICE ON/OFF touch pad for 3 seconds toturn on the ice maker. The indicator will light up.■ Press and hold the ICE ON/OFF touch pad for 3 seconds toturn off the ice maker.
