8C LOCK CONTROLLEDO VEN O PERATIONSThe clock controlled oven cooking featureis used to turn the oven off at a preset timeof day or delay the start and then turn off theoven.The clock must be functioning and set at thecorrect time of day for this feature tooperate correctly.The feature can be used for oven cooking orself-cleaning. See page 11 for instructionson delaying the start of a clean cycle.SETTING THE C ONTROLSTO START IMMEDIATELY ANDTURN OFF AUTOMATICALLY:1. Press the Bake pad.• The indicator word BAKE will flashand three dashes will appear in thedisplay.2. Press the Auto Set (0) pad or theappropriate number pads for the desiredoven temperature.• The temperature can be set from100° to 550° in 5° increments.• After five seconds the oven will beginto preheat. The indicator words ONand PREHEAT will appear in the display and 100° or the actual oven tem-perature, whichever is higher.3. Press the Cook Time pad. The indica-tor words COOK TIME will flash and thedisplay will show “0HR:00”.4. Press the appropriate number pads toenter cooking hours and minutes. (Al-lowable range is 5 minutes to 11 hoursand 55 minutes.)Example: If cooking time selected forconvection baking is 2 hours and 30minutes, the display will show:NOTE:• One minute before the end of CookTime, the oven light will come on untilthe end-of-cycle chimes are completed.The light can be turned off prior to theend of the chimes by pressing theOven Light pad or pressing the Can-cel pad. (Pressing the Cancel pad willalso cancel the operation.)After five seconds, the time of day re-turns to the display.• The temperature in the display willincrease in 5° increments until theoven reaches the preset temperature.• When the oven is preheated, the ovenwill chime and the ON and PREHEATindicator words will go off.5. At the end of the programmed CookTime, the oven will shut off automati-cally and a “chime” will be heard fourtimes and “End” will appear in the dis-play. Press the Cancel pad.If oven is not cancelled, “End” willremain in the display and there willbe one chime every minute for 10minutes.TO DELAY THE START AND TURNOFF AUTOMATICALLY:1-4. Follow preceding steps 1-4.5. Press the Stop Time pad. Indicatorwords STOP and TIME will flash. (Dis-play will show the calculated stop timebased on the current time of day and thecook time that you entered previously.)6. Press the appropriate number pads toenter the time you wish the oven tostop. A stop time can only be acceptedfor later in the day.Example: If at 10:00 you set the ovenfor 350° convection baking and 2 hoursand 30 minutes of cooking time, thecalculated stop time would be “12:30”.The display would show:If you want the stop time to be 1:00,press the number pads “1,0,0. Fiveseconds later, the display will brieflyshow the start time of 10:30 along withthe indicator words DELAY, STARTTIME.After five seconds, the display will re-turn to the current time of day alongwith the indicator words DELAY, TIMED.At the end of the delayed period, theDELAY indicator word will go off andthe oven will begin to heat.7. At the end of the programmed CookTime, the oven will shut off automati-cally and a “chime” will be heard fourtimes and “End” will appear in the dis-play. Press the Cancel pad.If the oven is not cancelled, “End”will remain in the display and therewill be one chime every minute for10 minutes.
