14Handwheel HandleThread the handwheel handle (DD, Fig. 10) into thehandwheel hole (A. Fig. 10), and then tighten thenut against the handwheel with a 10 mm wrench.Installing the BladeTo avoid injury from anaccidental start, make sure the switch is in theOFF position and the plug is disconnected fromthe power source outlet.Referring to Figure 11:1. Remove the table insert (A).2. Place the blade onto the arbor with the bladeteeth pointing forward to the front of the saw.3. Make sure the blade fits flush against the innerflange.4. Clean the outer blade flange (H) and install itonto the arbor and against the blade.5. Thread the arbor nut onto the arbor, makingsure the flat side of the nut is against the blade,then hand-tighten.6. Pull the arbor locking lever (G) toward the frontof the machine while spinning the blade byhand until the latch locks into place and theblade will no longer turn.7. Place the wrench (E) on the arbor nut and turnclockwise (toward the rear of the saw table).8. Lower the blade to the down position. Replacethe table insert (A) and the blade guard.Important: Do not operate this saw until the bladeand blade guard splitter are aligned and in workingorder.Removing the BladeTo avoid injury from anaccidental start, make sure the switch is in theOFF position and the plug is disconnected fromthe power source outlet.Referring To Figure 11:1. Remove the table insert (A) and raise the bladeto the maximum height by turning the bladeelevation handwheel clockwise.2. Remove blade guard.3. Adjust the blade to the 90° vertical position byunlocking the blade tilting lock knob and turningthe bevel tilting handwheel counterclockwise,and then lock into position.4. Pull the arbor locking lever (G) toward the frontFigure 10Figure 11of the tool while spinning the blade by handuntil the latch locks into place and the blade willno longer turn.5. Place the blade wrench (E) on the arbor nut (J).6. Loosen and remove the arbor nut and theflange by pulling the wrench towards the frontof the machine.7. Then remove the blade (F). Clean but do notremove the inner blade flange beforereassembling the blade.
