( Fig 14).Fig 14Test run:Turn the wheels by hand and inspect theadjustments made.Start the machine with care.Workpiece setup:Bring the upper blade guide to a distanceof approx 0,5cm to the workpiece (Fig 15).Fig 15For your own safety, always set the sawguide as close to the workpiece aspossible.8. Maintenance and inspectionGeneral notes:Maintenance, cleaning and repair workmay only be carried out after themachine is protected against accidentalstarting by pulling the mains plug.Repair and maintenance work on theelectrical system may only be carried outby a qualified electrician.Clean the machine regularly.Inspect the proper function of the dustextraction daily.All protective and safety devices must bere-attached immediately after completedcleaning, repair and maintenance work.Defective safety devices must be replacedimmediately.Inspect the correct blade tensionregularly. Take away the blade tension ifthe machine is not in use for a longer timeperiod.Inspect the blade guide adjustmentregularly.Check bandsaw blades regularly for faults.Replace a defective sawbladeimmediately.To clean the Wheels:The rubber tyre of the wheels must becleaned regularly.To tighten the beltUnplug the machine from power source.Table insert:Replace a worn table insert.The table insert may not project abovetable surface.The table insert must be made out ofcutable material (e.g. wood, plastic,aluminium)The table insert may not project abovetable surface.
