10 English DangerThe trigger gun is subjected to a recoil forcewhen the water jet is discharged. Make surethat you have a firm footing and are also hold-ing the trigger gun and spray lance firmly.CautionPrior to cleaning, make sure that the highpressure is placed safely on level ground.Wear protective goggles and protective cloth-ing during the cleaning process. Unlock the lever on the trigger gun. Pull on the lever of the trigger gun; the de-vice will switch on.Note: Release the lever of the trigger gun; thedevice will switch off again. High pressure re-mains in the system.Carrying out the most common cleaningtasks. The work pressure can be stagelesslyregulated between "Min" and "Max". Release the lever on the trigger gun. Turn the spray lance to the desired posi-tion.Note: Suitable for working with detergent; forthis, turn the spray lance to the "Mix" position.For particularly dirty items or areas.– Not suitable for use with detergents.Suitable for use with detergents.CautionCar tyres, paint or sensitive surfaces such aswood should not be cleaned with the dirt blast-er, as there is a risk of damage.Please use exclusively KÄRCHER detergentsand care products to carry out the respectivecleaning task, as these were specifically de-veloped for your appliance. The use of otherdetergents and care products may lead topremature wear and can invalidate your war-ranty claims. Please obtain information atyour local dealer or request information direct-ly from KÄRCHER.Notes regarding the detergent: The mostcommonly used KÄRCHER detergents canbe purchased ready to use in their Plug 'n'Clean detergent bottles with locking lids. Thiswill make the pesky refilling and filling proc-esses redundant. IllustrationRemove the lid from the Plug 'n' Clean de-tergent bottle and press the detergent bot-tle into the detergent connection with theopening facing down. IllustrationAdjust the suction volume of the detergentsolution by means of the dosage regulatorfor detergents. Use spray lance with pressure regulation(Vario Power). Turn the spray lance to "Mix" position.Note: This will mix the detergent with thewater stream.Note: If required, the washing brushes can beused to work with detergent. Spray the detergent sparingly on the drysurface and allow it to react, but not to dry. Spray off loosened dirt with the high-pres-sure jet. Release the lever on the trigger gun. Lock the lever on the trigger gun. During longer breaks (more than 5 min-utes), also turn the appliance off using the"0/OFF" switch. Insert the trigger gun in its holder.CautionOnly separate the high-pressure hose fromthe trigger gun or the appliance while there isno pressure in the system. Remove the Plug 'n' Clean detergent bot-tle from the intake and close it with the lid.To store, place into the intake rotated by180°. Release the lever on the trigger gun. Turn off the appliance "0/OFF". Turn off tap.High pressure operationSpray lance with pressure regulationSpray lance with DirtblasterWashing brushWorking with detergentRecommended cleaning methodInterrupting operationFinish operation
