English 7 Make sure that the power cable or exten-sion cables are not damaged by runningover, pinching, dragging or similar. Pro-tect the power cable from heat, oil, andsharp edges. All current-conducting parts in the workingarea must be protected against jet water. The appliance may only be connected toan electrical supply which has been in-stalled in accordance with IEC 60364. The appliance may only be connected to al-ternating current. The voltage must corre-spond with the type plate on the appliance. For safety reasons, we recommend thatyou operate the appliance only via a earth-leakage circuit breaker (max. 30 mA). Cleaning operations which produce oilywaste water, e.g. engine washes, under-body washes, may only be carried out us-ing washing stations equipped with an oilseparator. This appliance was designed to be usedwith detergents which are supplied or rec-ommended by the manufacturer. The useof other detergents or chemicals maycompromise the safety of the appliance.CautionSafety devices protect the user and must notbe modified or bypassed.The appliance switch prevents unintentionaloperation of the appliance.This lock locks the lever of the trigger gun andprevents the inadvertent start of the appliance.The overflow valve prevents the permissibleworking pressure from being exceeded.If the lever on the trigger gun is released thepressure switch turns off the pump, the high-pressure jet is stopped. If the lever is pulledthe pump is turned on again.CautionCreate stability for the appliance prior to allwork on or with the appliance to prevent acci-dents or damage.– The stability of the appliance is warrantedwhen it is placed onto an even surface.The scope of delivery of your appliance is il-lustrated on the packaging.
