This concerns the protection of the user, patients and all parti-cipants in the surgery.All dental and medical materials considered to be contaminated must be suitablyprocessed and sufficiently identified after cleaning and sterilisation before returningthem.NoteThe user is responsible for observing the regulations and conditions for sterility. Thecoolant container needs to be disposed and the hoses need to be changed aftereach patient.KaVo medical devices released for sterilisation are temperature-resistant up to 138 ℃(280.4 °F).The following parts are released for sterilisation:▪ Motor cable▪ Handpiece tray▪ Autoclave with 3-fold fractionated pre-vacuum:- at least 3 minutes at 134 °C -1 °C / +4 °C (273 °F -1.6 °F / +7.4 °F)– Drying time: 20 min.▪ Autoclave using the gravitation method- at least 10 minutes at 134 °C -1 °C / +4 °C (273 °F -1.6 °F / +7.4 °F)– Drying time: 30 min.NoteAllow the sterilised items to cool to room temperature before using them again.59 / 72
