Channel Selection21Channel SelectionThis section describes how you select TV channels with your receiverand how you can set the required volume.This description of the functions assumes that the receiver has beenconnected correctly.If you wish to connect the receiver yourself, please read the section"Connection and start-up" beforehand.Selecting a TV channelReception statusThe following information describes how to select other channels andshows what the on-screen displays look like.After switching on the receiver, simply press the buttons inorder to select other TV channels in their ascending or descendingorder in the channel memory.Every time you press the button, an on-screen display shows you theselected channel together with the time, the programme start and endtimes as well as the channel title in the information box provided thisdata is transmitted together with the signal.By pressing the button, you can leave this information boxpermanently displayed or switch it off by pressing the button onceagain.You will receive the "Channel scrambled" message for scrambledchannels.You cannot receive these channels with the receiver UFD 570.A further option for selecting a different channel is to press the button. The TV channel list is now displayed. In the top rightcolumn it provides information on the network, channel, carriernumber and the broadcaster. The left column shows the channellocation, channel name, type of received signal (free to air/scrambled)as well as the favourites and locked channels.
