To achieve the rated standbypower consumption of less than one Watt, it must be set to “Off”.Front Display NotificationSelect here whether, during operation, the front display should display the name of the channel currentlybeing watched (setting: “Channel”) or whether, following a brief on-screen display after changing channel,the time should be shown continuously on the front display (setting: “Time”).EPG SetupAfter calling up the menu, you will see thefollowing on-screen display:Individual items are selected using the buttons.Changes to the current settings can bemade using the buttons.EPG GrabbingHere you select the data with which the EPG is to be updated / filled. In order to exploit the full capability ofthe Premium tvtv EPG, this needs to be set to “tvtv”. If it is set to “SI”, the EPG will be filled with the conven-tional SI data transmitted by the broadcasters. This is less comprehensive than the tvtv EPG data and doesnot cover up to 14 days in advance. If it is set to “Off”, the EPG will not be updated at night.EPG Grabbing TimeHere you select the time at which the receiver's EPG data is to be updated. Since updating can take up to45 minutes, it is recommended the grabbing time is during the night when the receiver is not being used.The receiver (which must be in standby mode) will switch itself on from standby mode and update the EPGdata. After updating the data, the receiver will switch back to standby mode. Scheduled recordings are nota problem - in such cases the receiver carries out the update automatically later when recording is finished.Start View (EPG)Select the view here you always want to see on starting the EPG. You can choose between the “Now play-ing” view and the “Coming up (programme listings)” view.Pre-Recording TimeHere you can select the number of minutes prior to the time set in the EPG when the recording should start.You can choose a value between one minute and 30 minutes, in one minute increments. The recording willstart that number of minutes before the due time. This provides contingency for minor variations in transmis-sion times.
