They are Easy Beat, Melody Play an Skillful. See page17 for details.¡ Mode 2Mode 2 allows Concert Magic songs to be played by simply tapping any key with a constant steady beat,regardless of the song arrangement type.
Step 1Press and hold the METRONOME and SOUND SELECT buttons at the same time, then press the keyassigned to the CONCERT MAGIC MODE function.
Step 2While still holding down the METRONOME and SOUND SELECT buttons, press the '+ (on)' key to setConcert Magic Mode to Mode 2, or the '- (off)' key to set Concert Magic Mode to Mode 1.The Concert Magic Mode is set to Mode 1 when the CN21 piano is turned on.7) MIDI CHANNEL SELECT About MIDIThe term MIDI is an acronym for Musical Instrument Digital Interface, an international standard forconnecting synthesizers, sequencers (MIDI recorders) and other electronic instruments so that they canexchange performance data. The CN21 is equipped with two MIDI jacks for exchanging data: MIDI IN andMIDI OUT. Each uses a special cable with a DIN connector. MIDI IN : For receiving note, program change and other data. MIDI OUT : For sending note, program change and other data. Connection to an external sequencerWhen connected to an external sequencer, songs played on the CN21 piano can be recorded using a MIDIrecorder, with preset sounds (such as piano, harpsichord and vibraphone, etc.) controlled by the CN21’sMULTITIMBRAL MODE function to create a multi-layered MIDI recording.
