53Return to the Top pageBluetooth OperationRegistering the Bluetooth Unit1 Touch [SET] of [Regist New Device].Searched Device List screen appears.NOTE• A new device cannot be registered if there are 5registered Bluetooth units. Delete unnecessaryregistration. See Connecting the Bluetoothunit (P.53).• If a Bluetooth unit cannot be registered by normalregister (pairing) operation, touch [SP DEV]. Fordetails, see Registering special Bluetooth unit(P.54).2 Touch [PIN Code Set].PIN Code Set screen appears.NOTE• If the unit cannot be searched in step 1, you cansearch the unit again by touching [Search] inabove screen.• Touch [Cancel] to cancel searching for theBluetooth unit.3 Enter PIN code and touch [Enter].The entered code is recognized andSearched Device List screen appears again.4 Select the Bluetooth unit to registerfrom the list.The Connection Device List screen appears.NOTE• Registering operation can be performed from theBluetooth unit. In this operation, entering the PINcode is necessary. See Registering Bluetoothunit PIN code (P.59).• If registering cannot be completed even whenthe PIN code is correct, try Registering specialBluetooth unit (P.54).Connecting the Bluetooth unit1 Touch [SET] of [Paired Device List].Connection Device List screen appears.2 Touch the device name you want toconnect.Means that the device is a cell-phone.Means that the device is an audio player orcell-phone with audio player.NOTE• If the icon is lighted, it means that the unit willuse that device.3 Touch [TEL(HFP)] or [Audio(A2DP)].[TEL(HFP)] is for cell-phone.[Audio(A2DP)] is for audio player.NOTE• [Audio(A2DP)] is available only for .• Touching [Remove] removes registrationinformation. After you touch the key, aconfirmation message appears. Follow themessage and complete the operation.• To disconnect the device, perform aboveprocedures again.
