83Return to the Top pageBluetooth ControlRegistering the Bluetooth Unit1 Touch [Search].Searched Device List screen appears.NOTE• You cannot register the Bluetooth unit when youare using the following sources:iPod, Bluetooth Audio, APPS, iHeart, PandoraIf you want to register the Bluetooth unit whileusing one of the above mentioned sources, sendthe connection request from the Bluetooth unitand register it.• A new device cannot be registered if there are 5registered Bluetooth units. Delete unnecessaryregistration. See Connecting the Bluetooth unit(P.83).• The Searched Device List screen cannot bedisplayed, when the receiving source is Pandora,iHeartRadio, or Bluetooth Audio.• This unit is compatible with the Apple EasyPairing function. When an iPod touch or iPhone isconnected to this unit, an authentication dialogappears. Performing operation for authenticationon this unit or iOS smartphone registers thesmartphone as a Bluetooth device.2 Select the Bluetooth unit to registerfrom the list.NOTE• If the unit cannot be searched in step 1, you cansearch the unit again by touching [Search] inabove screen.• A Bluetooth device cannot be searched whilethe source is Pandora, iHeartRadio, or Bluetoothaudio.• Touch [Cancel] to cancel searching for theBluetooth unit.3 Enter PIN code form the cell-phone.Profile select screen appears.Connecting the Bluetooth unit1 Touch the device name you want toconnect.Profile select screen appears.NOTE• If the icon is lighted, it means that the unit willuse that device.2 Set each profile as follows.TEL (HFP)Means that the device is a cell-phone.Audio (A2DP)Means that the device is an audio player orcell-phone with audio player.NOTE• If a device has been paired, the Bluetooth unitcannot be connected from the paired device.• Touching [Remove] of [Device Remove Confirm]removes registration information. After you touchthe key, a confirmation message appears. Followthe message and complete the operation.
