21Installation procedure1. Remove the ignition key and disconnectthe negative (-) terminal of the battery toprevent short circuits.2. Connect the input and output cables ofthe units.3. Connect the ground cable, battery cable,and ignition cable of the wiring harnessin the order listed.4. Install the unit in the car.5. Connect the negative (-) terminal of thebattery.6. Press the Reset button.• If the fuse blows, check cables forshorts, then replace the fuse with one ofthe same rating.• Check that no unconnected cables orconnectors are touching the car body.Do not remove caps from unconnectedcables or connectors to prevent shortcircuits.• After installation, check that the brakelamps, winkers, and wipers workproperly.• Insulate unconnected ends of cords withvinyl tape or similar.• Use only the supplied screws forinstallation. Use of any other screwsmay damage the unit.2CAUTIONTransportationscrewsRemove all 3 transportationscrews (minus) for protecting theinternal mechanism before youstart to install the unit.Removing the transportation screwsNOTEAfter removing the transportscrew, retain it carefully andattach it again before transportingthe unit again.Installation
