If theunit is unstable, it may malfunction (for example, the soundmay skip).Japanese Cars1 Refer to the section Frame> and then remove the hard rubber frame.2 Align the holes in the unit (two locations on eachside) with the vehicle mounting bracket and securethe unit with the accessory screws.8 mmMAX.ø5mm ø5mm8mmMAX.TN TNT/NT: Toyota carsN: Nissan carsAccessory3...for Nissan carAccessory4...for Toyota car3 4Removing the Hard Rubber Frame1 Engage the catch pins on the removal tool andremove the two locks on the upper level.Upper the frame and pull it forward as shown inthe figure.CatchLockAccessory2Removal tool2 When the upper level is removed, remove thelower two locations.⁄• The frame can be removed from the bottom side in thesame manner.Removing the Unit1 Refer to the section Frame> and then remove the hard rubber frame.2 Detach the faceplate.3 Insert the two removal tools deeply into the slotson each side, as shown.4 Lower the removal tool toward the bottom, andpull out the unit halfway while pressing towardsthe inside.Accessory2¤• Be careful to avoid injury from the catch pins on theremoval tool.5 Pull the unit all the way out with your hands, beingcareful not to drop it.¤ CAUTIONInstall this unit in the console of your vehicle.Do not touch the metal part of this unit during andshortly after the use of the unit. Metal part such asthe heat sink and enclosure become hot.
