58 | KIV-BT901/ KIV-701Bluetooth SetupFunction of KIV-BT901KIV-701 with KCA-BT300/BT200 (Optional Accessory)Deleting a Registered BluetoothDeviceYou can delete a registered Bluetooth device.1 Enter Bluetooth modeKIV-BT901: Press the [ ] button.KIV-701: Press the [iPod] button for at least 1second.2 Enter Bluetooth device deletion modeTurn the [Volume] knob and press it when thedesired item is displayed.Select “BT Settings” > “Pairing” > “DeviceDelete”.“(device name)” is displayed.3 Select the Bluetooth deviceTurn the [Volume] knob.4 Delete the selected Bluetooth devicePress the [Volume] knob.5 Turn the [Volume] knob and press it when thedesired item is displayed.Select “YES”.“Delete” is displayed.6 Exit BT Setting modePress the [MENU] button for at least 1 second.⁄• When a registered cell-phone is deleted, its Phone Book,log, SMS, and voice tag are also deleted.Downloading the Phone BookDownload the phone book data from the cell-phone to this unit so that you can use the PhoneBook of this unit.To download automaticallyIf the cell-phone supports a phone booksynchronization function, the phone book isdownloaded automatically after Bluetoothconnection.⁄• Setting on the cell-phone may be required.• If no phone book data is found in the unit even afterthe compete display, your cell-phone may not supportautomatic download of phone book data. In this case, trydownloading manually.To download from the cell-phone manually1 By operating the cell-phone, end the hands-freeconnection.2 By operating the cell-phone, send the phonebook data to this unitBy operating the cell-phone, download the phonebook data to this unit.• During downloading:“Downloading” is displayed.• After completion of downloading:“Completed” is displayed.3 By operating the cell-phone, start the hands-free connection.To clear the downloading completion messagePress any button.⁄• Up to 1000 phone numbers can be registered for eachregistered cell-phone.• Up to 25 (KIV-BT901)/ 32 (KIV-701) digits can beregistered for each phone number along with up to 50*characters representing a name.(* 50: Number of alphabetical characters. Fewercharacters can be input depending on the type ofcharacters.)• To cancel downloading of the phone book data, operatethe cell-phone.
