For more informationon operating devices in a multi-Zone setup, see “Chapter Three: UsingPowerTouch in Multiple Zones”.To operate a second CD player or tape deck:1. Touch (HOME1) on the Quick Access menu.2. Touch (CD2/TAPE2 ON/OFF). The CD2/TAPE2 MONITORindicator on the receiver also lights up. In this condition, the deviceconnected to the CD2/TAPE2 inputs can be monitored.Each touch of toggles its condition between ON and OFF.After completing playback of the device connected to the CD2/TAPE2MONITOR, be sure to set this condition to OFF.3. Touch . The commands appear for the device you connectedto this jack set and identified to PowerTouch.4. Use the available commands as your CD player or tape deck remote.Touch (More) to access any customized commands you havetaught PowerTouch for this device. Touch the command to use it.For more information on teaching commands to PowerTouch, see“To Customize the PowerTouch Screen” on page 43 of the Connec-tions and Setup Guide.To select the input on the receiver, use the CD2/TAPE2 MONITORbutton inside the door. The CD2/TAPE2 MONITOR indicator lightsup when it is selected. After completion of playback, press the CD2/TAPE2 MONITOR button again so that the CD2/TAPE2 MONITORindicator goes out.
