English 15Random playYou can play all the tracks/files in random order.1 During playing, pause or stop mode, pressRANDOM button to enable random play mode.The icon “RDM” appears on the display.2 To exit random mode, press RANDOM buttonagain.The icon “RDM” disappears from the display.Repeat playYou can play the current track/file/album or thewhole disc/USB device repeatedly.Press REPEAT button in play or pause mode.Every time the button is pressed, the repeat playchanges in the following order:For CD :Repeat mode IconRepeat a single track “REP.”Repeat all the tracks * 1 “REP. ALL”Repeat off —For audio file :Repeat mode IconRepeat a single file “REP.”Repeat one album * 2 “REP. ALB.”Repeat all the files * 1 “REP. ALL”Repeat off —⁄• *1 All tracks/files are repeated continuously.• * 2 This function cannot be used in program mode.Intro scan (For CD only)This function let you listen to the first 10 seconds ofeach track throughout the CD.Press INTRO button to start scanning.The icon “INTRO” appears on the display.To stop the intro scanPress INTRO button again.The unit enters normal play mode and startsplaying from where you stop the scanning.Recording on a USB device (For CDonly)Records songs in the CD to the USB device in MP3format.1 Insert a USB device to the USB connector on thefront panel.2 To record all the tracks:Stop playback.To record a single track:Play the track to be recorded.3 Press USB O.T.E. [USB O.T.E.] button to beginrecording.The icon “SYNC USB REC” appears on the display.4 To end recording, press 7 [7 stop] button.⁄• During recording, it is not possible to listen to another source.• The recorded music files and folders accommodating themare numbered automatically.
