1-48 (No.RA077)5.2 Operating Method of Enforced Firmware OverwritingModeEnforced firmware overwriting mode is a mode to forciblyoverwrite the transceiver firmware when the transceiver cannotbe updated by using Updater; for instance, when the transceiverfails to start up due to the transceiver failure.(1) Prepare the followings:• Transceiver (NX-1200 or NX-1300)• Battery jig• Programming interface cable (KPG-22U)• DC Power supply(2) Disassemble the transceiver to the condition shown in thefigure. (Front case and chassis separation)(3) Connect a transceiver, battery jig and programminginterface cable (KPG-22U).(4) While FLDM terminal has a short-circuit with GND terminalon the PCB, turn the DC Power supply output ON.(5) Upon startup of FLDM loader, Red LED blinking.(6) Start Updater for NX-1000 Series, select the COM portnumber and speed, and then click the "Write" button.Note:High speed is for KPG-22U, for other cable pleaseselect Normal speed.(7) Upon completion of the firmware overwriting, Radio will bere-start.5.3 Replacing TX-RX UnitTX-RX unit informationMethod of confirming "Original TX-RX unit" and "ServiceTX-RX unit"TL601TL520TL519TL518TL517TL515TL514TL512TL509TL506 TL500TL402TL400TL302TL301 TL300TL202TL201TL2TL1S712 R736R735R734 R733R732R731R730R729R728R727R726R725R724 R723R722R721R719R718R717R710R709R704R702R701R700R647R645R641R640R639R638R637R636R635R634R633R615R614R610R609R608R545R543R542R541R540R539 R538R537R536R535R534R533R532R531R530R406R402R401R400R332R330R329R328R327R326R325R324R323R322R321R319R318R315R314R313R312R311R310R309R308R307R306R305R304R303R302R301R300R147R142R127R126R115R114R112R111R110R109R83R82R38R37Q701Q700Q400Q312Q311Q310Q309Q307 Q306Q305Q304Q303Q302Q301Q300Q202Q103Q102Q101L700IC700IC604IC603IC600IC402IC400IC302IC301 IC300IC5F400F300D719D718D717D716D709D708D703 D701D307D306D305D304D300D105CP712 CP711 CP709 CP706 CP705CP704CP703CP702CP701CP600CP501CP300CN401CN400CN300C721C716C715C714C713 C712C711C650C641C635C634C633C632C631C629C628C627C626C609C608C607C603C538C537C535C534C430C412C411C406C405C404C403C400C346C345C344C343C342C340C337C336C334C332C330C329C328C327C326C324C323C322C321C320C319C318C317C316C315C314C313C311C309C308C305C304C303C302C301C300C104C32C31VPPM+SRSTVCO_OUTR84R83R81MICOR85SPORXDGNDCVPWR32CAUDIOB+38MMICRXIRXQ32MRESETXC1-29*J7C-0289-**5TSWDIO SWCLKVCCTEST_TX5CFLDMTEST_RXR82SWOS-BATT5MTXDINTM-DVSSS+TL520TL512 TL506 TL500R539 R538CN401CN400C430VPPSRSTPWR38MXC1-29*J7C-0289-**SWOINTFLDMFLDMModel Name For Service TX-RXunit NumberOriginal TX-RX unitNumberNX-1200D (K) XCA-075K-01 XC1-295K-01NX-1200DV (K)NX-1200N (K) XCA-076K-01NX-1200NV (K)NX-1300D (K4) XCA-077K-01 XC1-296K-01NX-1300DU (K4)NX-1300N (K4) XCA-078K-01NX-1300NU (K4)Service TX-RX unit number by the marking seal is shownin this area on the BLS.Original TX-RX unit number is not shown.
