4rePLaCInG The BaTTerY PaCkReplace an expired battery pack with a newly purchasedKNB-71L battery pack.◆ Do not disassemble the battery pack.◆ Be sure to follow local laws concerning the disposal of batterypacks.1 Pull back the battery pack latch, thenremove the battery cover from thetransceiver.• When using the belt clip {page 6}, besure to remove it before removing thebattery cover.2 Lift the battery pack and its packingaway from the transceiver.• Lift the battery pack cable andremove the connector from the PCBterminal.3 Remove the old battery pack from thepacking and insert the new batterypack.• Pass the battery pack cable throughthe hole in the packing.
