DTSS (Dual Tone Squelch System)This function allows squelch to be turned on in receivemode on reception of a three-digit code matching theDTSS code selected in your radio.Once squelch is turned on by reception of a matchingcode. squelch operates normally from then on. If nosignal is received for longer than 2 seconds. squelch isturned off until a matching code is received.NOTEThis function is not available in some areas.4-8-1.
