Install a chip resistor in the position of R508.The volume level of the Sidetone can be reducedby installing a chip resistor, R508.z The transceiver whose serial number isbetween 607xxxxx and 609xxxxx:Attenuation ratio is calculated asR508/ 10kΩ. Recommended value is 1kΩ.Installing 1kOHM resistor, the Sidetonevolume is approximately 17dB attenuated.z The transceiver whose serial number is701xxxxx and after:Attenuation ratio is calculated asR508/ (8.2kΩ + R508). Recommended valueis 1kOHM.Installing 1kOHM resistor, the Sidetonevolume is approximately 17dB attenuated.2.2.3 Installing an Optional Board inthe TK-52101. Connect the Optional Board Connector PCB to theconnector of the TX-RX PCB (X57-6820-10).2. Peel off the backing from the tape on the rear surfaceof the QE-2 board and attach the cushion on thecentral part of upper inner wall of the chassis.3. Reinstall the cover and battery pack.2.2.4 Configuration using KPG-95DYou can write the ANI Board information to thetransceiver using KPG-95D after installing the ANI Board.Follow the procedure below.1.
