AutomaticCorrections executes a function that automatically calculates corrections for theM9195A. It does not require a calibration fixture or measurement equipment. Thename of the specific function is Execute Automatic Corrections.Before calling Automatic Corrections, all cables to external fixtures (inputs to theM9195A) must be disconnected from the M9195A.The Automatic Corrections Needed function returns True if the current moduletemperature has deviated by more than 5o C from the temperature whereautomatic corrections were last calculated. With this deviation of over 5 oC, themeasurement values from the PPMU may not be within specifications.You should Execute Automatic Corrections at these times:– When the test system is initially set up (when you first receive and installthe M9195A in your PXIe system).– If there has been any change to the test system environment.– On a regular schedule as necessary; for example, you may want to performthe Automatic Corrections daily, weekly, or monthly.– When the module temperature has changed more than 5o C from thetemperature at which automatic corrections were last calculated.Before you run Automatic Corrections,(a) Disconnect all cables (for accuracy and to prevent damage)(b) Save any data that you need (waveforms, cycle instructions,etc.), as Auto Corrections will erase the memory in the module.Be prepared for Automatic Corrections to take several minutes tocomplete.Keysight recommends yearly calibration to guaranteespecifications and to maintain the highest level of performance.The module calibration may be performed by the service center orby self-maintainers with the optional Keysight Y1252A CalibrationKit.Refer to the M9195A Service Guide and the Soft Front Panel Helpfor more detailed information.
