Keysight M9195A PXIe Digital Stimulus/Response Startup Guide 35M9195A Module Level TroubleshootingStatus LEDWhen power is first applied to the M9195A PXIe DSR, the LED starts in the Offstate, and then changes to green after a few moments when PXI enumerationhas taken place. In general, when the Status LED is solid green the module isworking correctly. The following table lists the states (colors) of the Status LED.M9195A soft front panel Self TestRefer to “Conduct a Self Test” on page 22 for the Self Test procedure.Status LED color DescriptionOff Power not applied. Or, a failure could have possibly occurred in the powersupplies or fundamental hard ware.Green - solid Power OK. Successful PXI enumeration. Driver not initialized.Blue - solid Driver initialized, without error.The LED remains solid blue until the driver (or SFP) is closed, at which time itwill change to green.Blue - blinking The Instrument Identify operation has been activated from the API or the SFP(by setting Instrument Identify to True). The LED remains blinking blue untileither Instrument Identify is set to False or driver is closed.Red - solid Error condition. Analog power supply shut down due to over-temperature orexcessive current draw.If PXI enumeration fails, the module may still be functional, so trythe following:1. Locate the module in Keysight Connection Expert or2. Start the M9195A driver either through your own program or bystarting the Soft Front Panel.Either method should cause the Status LED to turn blue if themodule is operational.
