21Operating instructions HES and SEL5 Mounting and dismountingCONFIDENTIAL5.2.3 Adjusting the switch pointsThe factory setting for the switch points of the belt mis-alignment switches is 10° in both directions. The "Ad-vance Warning" and "Switch Off" switch points can beadjusted as required.1. Prior to working, switch off the power supply to thesystem. Ensure that the conveyor system cannot beaccidentally switched on. Mask any neighboringcomponents that may be live to prevent contact.2. Open the cover (2) of the belt misalignment switchby loosening the two screws (5) (see fig. 5-8).NoteThere are two screws (15) in each of the twocams (11) (see figure 5-10, page 22). With onescrew (15), the cam (11) is fixed in its basic set-ting. The second screw (15) is screwed into thecam (11).To adjust the cam (11), the first screw (15) isloosened just enough that the cam (11) can beturned. The screw (15) can remain in the de-vice.
