Manuale d’istruzione Sez.7 All. 9 Rev. 3 del 25.07.2013 18SELECTING A LOCATIONAIR STOVESWhen positioning the stove select the most central point in the desired location inorder to easily and uniformly heat and obtain a sure optimal profit.Once you have chosen the right location, near a chimney flue, place a floor protectorunder the stove (optional) if the floor is made of flammable material such as parquet ormoquette.TERMOIDRO ( boiler stove)A boiler stove requires a wide space, as it may get hot due to stove’s warmth, while allthe rest of the house will be heated through radiators or floor’s heating plant. For therest the same principles of normal pellet stoves are valid.ELECTRICAL WIRING1. Electrical wiring of the stove needs a grounded electrical outlet. Before pluggingplease ensure the efficiency of outlet.2. While installing please make sure not to let the cable system contact the stove’shot parts. To avoid the danger of short circuits, ensure the cable is not crushed bythe stove.Note: The stove’s plant is protected by two fuses plugged into the main switchplaced behind the stove.Always remember to remove voltage from the stove before maintenance and/orinspection!!INSTALLATIONSInstalling the stove to the chimney flue is an important operation which maycompromise the proper functioning of the stove, so it should be always supervised bya qualified person. We strongly recommend avoiding any operation without completeknowledge of all necessary instructions.Precisely calculate the diameter of the flue apart from the diameter of the stove’soutlet: the right functioning of a pellet stove depends on the efficiency of the chimneyflue. Before installation please ensure that the internal section and chimney flue’sheight are adequately measured to obtain a proper draft and that this is notobstructed or incorrectly connected. Regulation of chimney flue for pelletstoves follows the same rule for flues for fireplaces and wood stoves, so theyhave been produced to make use of natural aspiration. Please remember: theyneed an aspiration of 10 Pascal, when hot.Reductions in diameter on the area of pipes connecting to chimney flue are not allowed: in orderto obtain a good burning it is better not to install horizontal segments because they’re subject tobe filled with ash from the subsequent reduction of the section provided. Also it is wise to avoidexcessive use of curves (max.2): they should be fixed permanently to get maximum security andlower pressure drop.
