16 Dolby Lake Controller User Manual PLM Edition Addendum5.4.6 Loadsmart resultsThe Load Results page reports the findings of theverification procedure and and also contains thefunction controls for SpeakerSafe. Results for eachof the PLM power outputs are displayed togetherwith a summary in the ‘All’ column.5.4.6.1 Load Type verificationThe results shown in the Load type row of the tablewill be one of the following:Correct▸ – The measured load characteristicsclosely match the values predicted from theload library data in combination with the totalresistance calculation. The load is assumed tobe of the correct type.Uncertain▸ – The measured load characteristicsexhibit a degree of variance from the predictedvalues. A warning will become active on thechannel.Wrong▸ – The measured characteristics differwidely from the predicted values; it is assumedthat the load has malfunctioned or is of the wrongtype. A Fault is issued and the channel remainsmuted. A successful re verification or a powercycle will clear the fault and the mute state. No model▸ – Fingerprint data is missing from theModule file selected.aborted▸ – A power output channel was in aprotective state during the load verificationprocess (e.g. temperature fault). The All column summarizes the result of theNumber of Cabinets verification. Itsummarizes the result from each poweroutput channel in the order Verified/Wrong.For example 2/1 mans that two channels were foundto have the same number of cabinets as configuredand one did not.If the Load Type verification fails, the poweroutput channel will be muted to preventdamaging the speaker. A subsequent Corrector Uncertain verification, or a power cycleof the unit, will resolve the muted state.5.4.6.2 Cabinet Count VerificationThe results in the Number of cabinets table rowwill be one of the following:Verified▸ – The measured load impedanceindicates that the number of cabinets connectedto this power output matches that configured.Wrong▸ – The measured load impedance indicateseither that the number of cabinets connected tothis power output channel is incorrect. If the correct number of cabinets wereentered but the results returned are wrongthen it is still possible to force the settingsFigure 5.4.2: Load verification results page5 operation
