11FIGURE 10AOPERATION (continued)This saw is equipped with a safety feature that preventsthe power plug from short-circuiting in case it gets wet.Whenever the saw’s power plug is disconnected fromthe power source, the safety feature will trip the internalbreaker. This is normal.To start the saw after it has been disconnected fromthe power source, depress the red test button (A) sothat it locks in place.RE-SETTING THE SHORT-CIRCUIT SAFETY BUTTONNote: The arbor screw that secures the blade tothe saw has LEFT-HANDED THREADS. Rotate thearbor screw clockwise to remove it and counter-clockwise to tighten it.1. Using the supplied flat blade wrench (B3), holdthe outer flange in place. With the suppliedT-wrench (B4), loosen and remove the bl descrew by rotating it clockwise.2. Remove the outer flange.3. Remove old blade and place the new blade onthe spindle.NOTE: If using a blade with a 20mm bore, besure to insert the supplied 20mm to 5/8- nch boreadapter (B8) into the blade before mounting theblade onto the spindle.4. Replace the outer flange on the spindleUse the flat blade wrench and T-wrench, as inStep 1 to replace and tighten the arbor screw.Remember to rotate the screw counter-clockwiseto tightenCHANGING THE SAW BLADENever use this tool without the Ground Fault CurrentInterrupter (GFCI) provided with this tool.Always test and verify that the GFCI functions correctlybefore each use as described above “Re-Setting theShort Circuit Safety Button”.Replacement of the plug or the power supply cordshould be completed by the manufacturer or authorizedservice center.FIGURE 11B4B3ai10
