INSTRUMENTSAND CONTROLSINSTRUMENT PANELThe instrument panel is shown inFigures 30a and 30b; it depends onthe design version of your vehicle.1 – light engineering controlmodule (see the section «Light engi-neering control module and head-light adjuster»).2 – light alarm switch (See thesection «Light alarm switch»).3 – driver’s air bag moduleincludes an intergrated systemwith castenets-like horn.ATTENTION!1. Sound signal is activated bypressing the module top cover, inthe zone marked by dash-and-dotline (Fig. 30a and 30b).2. It is forbidden to activatesound signal by stroke the mod-ule cover!3. To avoid the air bag modulecover breaking do not activate thesound signal lower than recom-mended zone, marked by dash-and-dot line (Fig. 30a and 30b).The correct operation withsound signal will allow to prolongair bag module life and to keep itssalable condition.In case you ignore our recom-mendation on sound signal cor-rect activation the manufacture isnot responsible for further condi-tion and operating characteris-tics of your car air bag module.4 – instrument cluster (See thesection «Instrument cluster»).5 – wiper switch (See the section«Wiper switch»).6 – ignition starter switch (Seethe section «Ignition starter switch»).7 – hazard switch. To turn onlight alarm, press the switch button;to turn off it, repress the switch but-ton. When activating light alarm allturn indicators work. Light alarmwarns that at the moment the vehicleis a danger to other road users. Lightalarm operates in all positions of thekey in the ignition starter switch.8 – rear window heating switch.Rear window heater only works whenthe key is inserted into the ignitionstarter switch to position I. To switchon heating press the switch button,to switch off heating, repress theswitch button.If turning the key in the ignitionstarter switch to position 0 with theheater on – heating function is off.When restarting the engine – heatingfunction is restored without pressingthe switch button.Check light indicator on the switchbutton will light orange during opera-tion of the heater.In the design variant heating ofrear window and exterior mirrors isswitched at the same time.In the design variant rear win-dow heater and electric mirrors'heaters are activated only when theengine is running.ATTENTION!1. To avoid discharging the bat-tery, do not switch on rear windowheating for a longer period of timethan is necessary.2. When cleaning the inner sur-face of the rear window do notuse sharp objects, as well ascleaning agents containing abra-sives as they can damage con-ductors of the window.9 – ventilation and heating sys-tem control unit or climate systemcontrol unit (in the design variant)(See the section «Ventilation andheating system control in passengercompartment»).10 – side glove box lid.3 Р.Э.-21920, англ. яз. 33
