6DMX signal cable connectionFor fixed installation it is better to connect signal cables IN/OUT directly to the terminal connection block with the cable goingthrough the PG9 cable clamps.The cable’s diameter must be compatible with the cable clamps of the projector (PG9), diameter from 4 to 7mm.Pin 1: GND, shieldPin2 : signal -Pin3 : signal +For temporary installations it is better to use out-door DMX connectors. For example NEUTRIK NC3 X-HD IP65.Connection to the projectorsUSING CONNECTION BLOCK AND JUNCTION BOXThe power supply has a dedicated terminal connection block to drive LEDs of the projector. Connect the projector to the powersupply, being careful to the colour of the wires, mistakes can burn the LEDs. Make the junctions inside junction box. Theprojectors and LEDs are connected in series. See the drawing below.The colour cables are (+) positive; the white cable stripes cables are (-) negative.LED POWER RGB can drive up to 48 LEDs 1.2W at 350mA (4 groups, 12 LEDs each)We suggest max. 20 meters total connection cable.Don’t plug in or out the connector from the fixture or from the led power when is connected to the mainpower. This non-observance will damage permanently the fixtures and the led power. |
